What is the Bosch Sensortec Making Sensor Tec! Challenge?
It is a 3.5-month, solution-oriented and digital innovation challenge focusing on Innovating Idea.
The competition is organized by Bosch Sensortec in Italy.
Bosch Sensortec is the technology leader in sensing solutions based
on microelectromechanical systems
(MEMS) and dedicated to the consumer electronics world. In Italy we have a dedicated Design
Center active in all the major design phases to build up a new chip’s family.
The Italian team works in an international environment
with worldwide connections and support the design MEMS for different applications such as wearable, smartphones, drones,
tablet and gaming stations.

What needs to be done?
With the possibility to get expert support, student Teams of minimum 3 – maximum 5 members are challenged to develop fascinating innovative solutions, enabled by sensors and development platforms of Bosch Sensortec.
Bosch improves quality of life worldwide with products and services that are innovative and spark enthusiasm. In short, Bosch creates technology that is “Invented for life.”

Tutoring and devices
All selected teams will receive an Arduino development board (Nicla Sense ME) and a Bosch BME688 development kit and will be tutored by expert Bosch professionals.

Hardware

All admitted teams will receive a starter kit during the Bosch Sensortec Challenge.

The starter kit includes the following hardware:
